How is pot produced?
Pot is a slang term for the dried flowers, or buds, of the cannabis plant. Production begins with cultivating the plant itself, where genetics, growing conditions, and care all play a major role in the quality of the flowers. When the plant reaches its flowering stage, it forms its characteristic buds. These are typically harvested once the flowers are fully developed and the trichomes, the small, resin-like crystals on the surface, have reached the desired structure. After harvest, the flowers are dried under controlled conditions to preserve their natural shape and content of plant compounds.
After drying, a trimming process follows, in which excess leaves and stems are removed so the flowers appear clean and uniform. In some cases, the finished buds are then stored in airtight containers under suitable temperature and humidity conditions to ensure stability and quality over time.
Is pot legal?
The legality of pot depends on the laws of each individual country. In Denmark, the cannabis plant and its flowers are generally illegal if they contain a THC level above 0.2%.
