What are CBD oils?

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a natural substance found in the hemp plant. Unlike THC, CBD does not produce any psychoactive effects. This means that CBD oils in no way have any euphoric effect, which has also meant that the oil is legal for external use in a large number of countries, including Denmark.

Some choose to consume CBD oil orally, either as a tincture (drop) or in capsule form. At Herbz, we only sell our CBD oils for external use for use in e.g. face creams or body lotions.

What you need to know about CBD oils

CBD oils and drops derive from the hemp plant and have historically been used to treat various conditions. In Denmark, CBD is not recognized as a medicine, and at Herbz we only sell our CBD oils for external use. However, all our products are legal, as they contain a maximum of 0.20% of the psychoactive substance THC, and can easily be bought over the counter on this site.

How do CBD oils work?

CBD oils and drops are used by many for external use because they see a potential for the product to have an anti-inflammatory effect.

When looking for CBD Drops, we recommend that you decide whether you want to use isolated or full-spectrum CBD.

Isolated CBD is the isolated version of cannabis. This is the purest CBD oil you can get close to. It also means that there is no taste or smell of the characteristic hemp plant.

Full spectrum CBD contains all substances from the hemp plant including small amounts (in Denmark maximum 0.20%) of THC. This version is good to use if you are happy with the natural scent of the hemp plant and would like to have (almost) all of the plant's properties.

As an alternative, you can also get broad-spectrum CBD, which contains all the properties of the hemp plant without THC.
